Life on the front-line of the police force can be a tough grind. Countless hours on stakeouts. Downright dangerous and unpredictable criminals and superiors that don’t always approve of unorthodox methods despite the growing fire-power and cruelty of low-level thugs and criminals.
Enter two dedicated but at times over zealous cops Brett Ridgeman (Mel Gibson) and Anthony Lurasetti (Vince Vaughn). This duo have seen and done it all before and right from the beginning of the picture, their arrest routine is down to a fine art. But Ridgeman’s brutal arrest method is in this instance caught on film, earning the pair an unwelcome and unexpected break from duty.
