A woman (Langley Fox Hemingway) traces lines of literature through her thoughts. Below the cliffs, the deep blue Pacific Ocean rolls and waves break.
Shifting from her minimalist glass house overlooking the ocean to small-town streets and cliff tops, Titan creates a slowly unfolding portrait of inner and outer experiences, of sublime geographic beauty and an unconscious structured through literature and drawing, of small familiar gestures and meditative moments.
Director Trent Gidaro’s debut feature is a beautifully realised, slow moving work, shot by Karina Silva (Deepwater Horizon), with an ethereal haunting score by Duncan Thum, the Californian landscapes and internal literary-scapes slowly unfold in this hypnotic and evocative experimental work.
The Director, Trent Gidaro, will be in attendance for the screenings for a Q&A.
