If the title of this film isn’t enough to get your tush into the cinema, the story most certainly will.
Delivering fully to the promise of the title, this infinitely sparky documentary looks at the life and times of one of fashion’s great innovators; the legendary fashion artist Antonio Lopez.
Pulling inspiration from the explosion of colour and movement of the late 60s and early 70s pop art and pop culture environments, Lopez’s drawing of fashion lines were unlike anything anyone had seen before. Part comic book and part orgasmic exploration of freedom, his drawings have become an iconic backdrop of 70s fashion and design and still look fabulous to this day.
This documentary explores his style and the people who inhabited his hedonistic world including models and designers that reshaped the industry and culture like Jerry Hall, Grace Jones, Grace Coddington, Bill Cunningham, Karl Lagerfeld and a whole lot more.
All style and lots of fun.
