Directed by Lynn Shelton, Your Sister’s Sister is an American indie film about doing the right thing with the wrong person.

One year after his brother’s death Jack (Mark Duplass) hasn’t recovered. His best friend Iris (Emily Blunt) prescribes solitary reflection and sends him to her father’s empty cabin.

But she doesn’t realise her sister Hannah (Rosemarie Dewitt) is there for similar reasons, having just walked out on a seven-year relationship.

What results is a funny, sad, and sexy romantic comedy drama.

Your Sister’s Sister was the opening film for Revelation Film Festival in 2012, and it will screen again as part of the Revelation program in collaboration with the City of Perth Library.

As part of their Winter Film Club series, the film will be introduced by Tristan Fidler (from RTRFM’s Movie Squad) and there will be an opportunity for a post-film discussion.

The films are provided by the Kanopy streaming service (free with a library membership) and will be screened in the City of Perth Library auditorium space.
