Travel Fellowship

The 2013 Travel Fellowship is now open.

In facilitating this offer, our special thanks go to Joan Peters who is again partnering the 2013 Revelation Travel Fellowship.

Now in it's 5th year, the national Fellowship provides financial assistance to three successful applicants to attend the 2013 festival and to be a special part of the spirit that is Rev.

Revelation understands that participating in the national and international film festival and conference circuit can be costly. We're also aware that a number of conference and similar type activities keep registration and other fees deliberately high so as to keep access oriented toward the landed gentry. However, at Revelation, we're keen to assist in any way we can those who want to attend the event and in so doing provide an event that's accessible, relevant, vibrant and made up of all sectors of the community - film or otherwise.

In an Australian first, Revelation annually looks to providing three filmmakers, academics, craftspeople or film-lovers from any state or territory of Australia (not including WA) up to a $1000 contribution toward travel and accommodation in order to attend the festival in Perth. The package also includes a range of other "access" benefits that extend to parties and VIP functions, masterclasses, special events and other event components. We of course shadow our Fellowship recipients to provide all the right introductions and mentor opportunities.
