Homa, a very experienced nurse is assigned a 10-day night shift to take care of an unpleasant old woman while her son, the owner of the clinic, is away. A huge snowstorm hits Iran and clogs the city, effectively closing it down.
Her mindscape begins to mirror the landscape. As the nights go by, she has increasing troubles sleeping.
The stress of her insomnia and building personal issues come to a head during the crisis within the city. The artfully lensed film stars Fatimeh Motamed Arya, whose performance has been described as “sublime”, and saw her nominated for best actress at the Asia Pacific Screen Awards.
